After surviving a severe attack as a puppy that left him permanently disfigured—and later a life-threatening battle with parvo—he now trains as a Therapy K9 to support grounding, comfort, and emotional safety. His gentle presence helps stabilize anxiety, reduce stress responses, and create trust during survivor interactions. Whether offering calm companionship, easing difficult conversations, or helping people feel safe during outreach and recovery efforts, Pogi brings compassion where it’s needed most.
